In the first NYSGA State Day of 2008, those who played were treated to an immaculately kept course in exceptional, picturesque surroundings.
There were three handicap flights with a first and runner-up prize awarded for the best net score of each flight.
This was the first of six State Days that will take place over the next few months.

Thanks to technology, we can all tally our strokes, calculate our course ratings and contemplate the audacity of slope. There is now a handicapping system for the rest of us.
The New York State Golf Association this year introduced an online "E-Club" to the Western New York region.
